Here are a few of our favorite Maryland catering venues to consider for your next party.
✧ Quiet Waters

Quiet Waters Park is the perfect indoor venue for weddings, holiday parties, conferences or business meetings. The Blue Heron Center, in particular, is a beautiful natural setting tucked away in Historic Annapolis. The center features a patio with teak benches and an artistic fountain. Thus, creating a wonderful setting for outdoor ceremonies or functions. It’s also an easy place for us to set up catering as it offers plenty of parking, on-site restrooms, and handicapped accessibility.
✧ Annapolis Friends Meetinghouse
The modern Annapolis Friends Meeting House (AFM) sits on a 4.5-acre lot bordered at the end of a quaint, peaceful residential street in Annapolis. The meetinghouse is available for renting by room or in its entirety and can accommodate up to 145 people for a variety of events. The one-story building is also Wi-Fi accessible, 100% solar, and suitable for tents. In addition, the venue is handicapped-accessible and has a hearing assistance system.
✧ Bliss in the Barn

Located in La Plata, Maryland, Bliss in the Barn is a rustic, charming tobacco barn venue that hosts weddings, receptions, and more. The 1700 square foot barn can be decorated in rustic or chic décor, giving you the flexibility to personalize the event. Adding to its countryside appeal, all of the tables and benches are hand-made from barn beams and reclaimed wood fencing. Even more, the adjacent field can accommodate any size tent and is perfect for a reception. And, there are acres of land available for lawn games, parking and watching the sunset.
✧ The Old Waldorf School
Built in 1930 as Waldorf Elementary School, this historic building was restored in the 90s and converted into a multi-purpose community center. Today, it is available to the public for an event venue and long-term rentals for 100 guests. Notably, the beautiful venue, in Waldorf, Maryland, boasts restored period details including moldings, windows and light fixtures, original wood floors, and a stage with original wood pocket doors. All in all, it’s the perfect venue for weddings, birthdays, and awards ceremonies.
✧ Belmont Manor & Historic Park

The Belmont Manor & Historic Park, located in Elkridge, Maryland sits on 68 acres of rolling hills. The manor, which was originally built in the 1700s, includes several restored buildings and amenities. Some of which include The Cottage House, The Carriage House, a barn, aqua garden, trails, and extensive gardens. Today, Belmont hosts an array of events such as weddings, retreats and bridal showers. The manor house can accommodate up to 150 people standing comfortably. While the tent, which is open from April to mid-November, can hold up to 250 people.
✧ Avant Garde Ballroom Dance Center
You can find the elegant Avant Garde Ballroom Dance Center in Kensington, Maryland. Featuring a 3,900 square foot facility with 3,000 sq. ft. of ballroom space, this space is ideal for weddings, birthday celebrations, and fundraisers. The center also has a full kitchen, so it is ideal for catered events. Not to mention, the ballroom features contemporary and elegant décor, a state of the art sound system, and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Overall, 150 dinner guests can sit comfortably and dance the night away.
