What’s Happening at Chevys

Ho Ho Holy Moly – 2020 has been a year! With it, it has brought tough times and good times. At Chevys, it has been a year of endings and new beginnings. That is why we want to take the time, to our loyal customers, to let you know what’s happening and what we’ve been up to. Some you might know about, others might be news to you. As always, make sure to follow our locations, Annapolis (Facebook/Instagram) or Arundel Mills (Facebook/Instagram), on social. Now, without further ado, here is what we’ve been up to (promise we didn’t mean to rhyme).

We Said Goodbye to Brandywine

It was with great sadness we had to announce the permanent closing of our Brandywine location. Having been a part of the Brandywine and surrounding communities for some time, we were very grateful for their support. Unfortunately, like many small businesses this year, tough decisions had to be made. While we are gone, for now, that doesn’t make us less hopeful for the future, whatever that might bring. Chevys will continue to serve Annapolis and Arundel Mills locations.

A Few Things Ramped Up

Like all small businesses in Maryland and across the country, we had to reassess our processes. While a clean and safe environment has always been a priority for us, the pandemic has made that at the forefront of our minds. That is why we have ramped up daily cleanings with stronger cleaners. In addition to cleaning between diners, we have now added sanitization of all surfaces. That way, we can minimize any germs. We also ask that any patrons avoid coming in if they are feeling sick or have a fever. Chevys wants to make sure we are doing our part in keeping the community safe.

Founds New Ways to Serve Our Customers

Another process we had to reaccess was how we serve our clients. With that, we have added contactless payments and menu options. We also have curbside pick up available at both our locations. And, while we have had a food truck to help meet the demands of staying at home, we have just bought a 2nd food truck. We are hoping to have this up and running for anyone to book this winter. Apple and Android Pay are available at our food trucks too. All of this is to make your experience better and safer.

Stay Tuned for What’s Happening At Chevys

Even though this year has been one for the books, we couldn’t be more thankful for our customers. As a Maryland owned small business, we appreciate everyone who has supported us throughout this year. From our hearts to your homes, we hope you continue to enjoy the Fresh Mex. Stay tuned for more of what’s happening at Chevys!
